It was 1982, when foundation stone of P P Savani Group of Schools was laid by head of Savani Family – Vallabhbhai Savani. Unable to complete his education due adverse situations, Vallabhbhai decided to start an educational institution, where children from all sections of the society can gain education. This resulted into launch of first school at Khodiyar nagar in Varachha.

Today, group operates 9 schools & PPS University in the city and all are acclaimed for unparalleled excellence and innovative approach in education.

History behind name of P P Savani Group is also worth cherishing. Vallabhbhai was always inspired by his elder brother Late Premjibhai Popatbhai Savani. To remember values and principles given by Premjibhai, Vallabhbhai decided to develop schools under umbrella bearing his name and so P P Savani came into existence.

Today P P Savani Group is not limited to education, but also social service, health and community well-being. P P Savani Heart Hospital is a place, where patients get every treatment – even if is unable to bear cost, it is arranged through donations. E M Charitable Trust is another attempt, where students aspiring civil services and GPSC (Gujarat Public Service Commission) are given coaching at very nominal fees.

પી.પી.સવાણી ગ્રુપ આપનું સ્વાગત કરે છે

૧૯૮૨માં જયારે સવાણી પરિવારના મોભી શ્રી વલ્લભભાઈ પી. સવાણી દ્વારા પી.પી.સવાણી ગ્રુપનો પાયો નાખવામાં આવ્યો હતો. સ્થાપના પાછળનો ઈતિહાસ પણ મુલ્યવાન છે શ્રી વલ્લભભાઈ સવાણીના જેષ્ઠ ભાઈ સ્વ.શ્રી પોપટભાઈ પ્રેમજીભાઈ સવાણીનાં અવસાન પછી પરિવારની પૂરી જવાબદારી શ્રી વલ્લભભાઈ સવાણી ના માથે આવી પડી.

શ્રી વલ્લભભાઈ સવાણી પ્રતિકુળ પરિસ્થિતિઓને કારણ તેમનું શિક્ષણ પૂર્ણ કરવામાં અસમર્થ રહ્યા, જેથી શ્રી વલ્લભભાઈ સવાણી એક શૈક્ષણિક સંસ્થા શરુ કરવાનો નિર્ણય લીધો, જ્યાં સમાજના તમામ વર્ગના બાળકો શિક્ષણ મેળવી શકે, હીરા વ્યવસાય માંથી સક્ષમબની તેઓએ મધ્યમવર્ગના લોકો માટે ખોડીયારનગર વિસ્તારમાં પ્રથમ શાળા શરુ કરવામાં આવી.

જેષ્ઠભાઈ પૂજ્ય સ્વ.શ્રી પોપટભાઈ પ્રેમજીભાઈ સવાણી ના મુલ્યો અને સિદ્ધાંતો યાદ રાખી તેમની પ્રેરણા હેઠળ તેમના નામની છત્રી હેઠળ શ્રી વલ્લભભાઈ સવાણીએ ૧૯૮૨માં પી.પી.સવાણી શાળાની  સ્થાપના કરી આજે આ ગ્રુપની શહેરમાં મધ્યમવર્ગ થી લઇ ઉચ્ચવર્ગ સુધીના વિધાર્થોઓ માટે ૧૦ જેટલી શાળાઓ અને પી.પી.સવાણી યુનિવસિટી સ્થાપી ફક્ત શિક્ષણ સુધી મર્યાદિત નથી પણ સમાજિક સેવા, આરોગ્ય અને સમુદાય સુખાકારી પી.પી.સવાણી હાર્ટ એન્ડ મલ્ટીસ્પેશ્યાલીસ્ટ હોસ્પિટલ બનાવી જે એવું સ્થળ બન્યું કે જ્યાં દર્દીઓને દરેક સારવાર મળે છે ભલે તે ખર્ચ સહન કરવમાં અસમર્થ હોય, તો તે સમાજના સક્ષમ લોકોના દાન દ્વારા ગોઠવી આપવામાં આવે છે. તદ્દ ઉપરાંત વિધાર્થીઓને જી.પી.સી (ગુજરાત પબ્લિક સર્વિસ કમીશન) ની મહત્ત્વાકાંક્ષી યોજનાઓ ખૂબ નજીવી ફી પર કોચિંગ આપવામાં આવે છે.

સમાજસેવા ના ભાગરૂપે પિતાની છત્રછાયા ગુમાવનાર વિધાર્થોઓની ધોરણ ૧૦ સુધી અને દીકરીઓને ગ્રેજયુએશન સુધીની શૈક્ષણિક  “ફી” ભરવાની જવાબદારી નિભાવી રહ્યા છે તેમજ વિધવા બહેનોના પરિવારોની આરોગ્ય જવાબદારી અને સમાજમાં આવી વિધવામાતાઓની દીકરીઓ તેમજ પિતાવિહોણી દીકરીઓને દત્તક લઈ ધામધુમથી લગ્નકરવી તમામ પિતાની ફરજો નીભાવવાનો સેવાયજ્ઞ ચલાવી રહ્યા છે હાલ 4972 થી વધુ દીકરીઓને સાસરીયા વળાવી છે.
